RADIOACTIVE/ JESSIE ROSE

Flowerbox, once an enchanting acoustic duo, showcased the rhythmic talents of Radioactive, a beatboxer and lyricist, alongside the melodic artistry of Jessie Rose, a skilled guitarist and flutist. Together, they defined Flowerbox's musical synergy.

Jessie Rose's journey led her from Maui, Hawaii, to Phoenix, Arizona, and eventually to Marylhurst University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Music Therapy degree and a Certificate in Flute Performance in 2008. Her musical career included co-fronting the band B JAC W in Portland alongside Nat Buttrick.

In 2014, Flowerbox achieved recognition, winning the Northbay Music Award for Best Acoustic/Singer-Songwriter Band, while Radioactive secured the Northbay Music Award for Best Hip Hop/Electronic Band. Although Flowerbox is no longer together, they once had the privilege of being signed and funded by the indie label "Warcry Records" and recorded a glorious full-length album that they hope to share with their fans someday.
