Today is the first day of the rest of your life, yet we must remember that no matter who you are, tomorrow is never promised. Not everyone made it to see this winter alive, and we are thankful that each of you reading this is here. We also appreciate your “be you to full” existence!
In a world filled with existing magazines and platforms, we aim to carve out a unique space focused on grassroots initiatives and community-driven change. Our mission is to spotlight all aspects of hip-hop culture, health innovations, and, above all, diversity, truth, and equality. We are dedicated to uplifting the youth and giving a voice to the voiceless while extending a helping hand to those in need.
This newsletter will celebrate the creativity that comes from the heart—art and creations made by humans, not processed or material items. We seek to highlight regional talents and initiatives, recognizing that there’s a wealth of creativity and inspiration in every community, no matter how small.
Our focus is on fostering collaboration among grassroots efforts, connecting with people who are passionate about creating real change. Whether it’s showcasing local artists, musicians, or initiatives that deserve attention, we’re here to amplify the voices and stories that matter.
So, this is a call to all changers and inspiring changers of self and society: peaceful warriors of Honest Creativity, family farms and small businesses, artists of all styles and levels, culinary enthusiasts, comedians, writers, and community organizers from Santa Crust to the Oregon border along the 1/101.
Send us your ideas and submissions for articles, spotlights, features, comic strips, teachers, students, families, and more. Nothing is too mundane, and nothing is unimportant to us. All facts will be checked before being considered for publication.
We are sending a call for submissions for:

- Arts Section: This includes Exhibit Reviews and Material Reviews. We want to hear about your experiences with local art shows, galleries, and the materials that artists are using to express their creativity.
- Music Reviews: Dive into the sounds of our community by reviewing instruments, albums, and new releases. Share what moves you and what you think deserves a spotlight.
- Dining Articles: We’re looking for reviews on Food Trucks, Fine Dining experiences, Delivery services, and even Home Cooking. Let us know what culinary gems you’ve discovered!
- Regional Community Events: Highlight upcoming events in your area that bring people together, from festivals to workshops, and everything in between.
- Friends and Family: Share stories of gatherings and family-friendly events that celebrate connection and community spirit.
- Spotlights, Salutes/Shout Outs: Recognize leaders and rising stars in your community—those making a difference and those who support them without seeking recognition.
- DIY/DIT (Do It Together) Projects: Feature creative projects that readers can do collaboratively, showcasing handmade crafts, tutorials, and community workshops that promote togetherness.
- Local Heroes: Spotlight individuals or groups making a significant impact in the community, highlighting their stories and contributions.
